BC Traffic Court is back in-person

Starting Monday, January 31st, traffic court cases will be back to in-person proceedings. Courthouses will continue to follow the BC government’s guidance on how to proceed with in-person hearings to ensure the safety of everyone.

This includes the requirement to be fully vaccinated to enter the courthouse, wearing a mask inside and staying home if sick. If a person has symptoms of COVID-19, it is important to apply for adjournment as soon as possible, and not attend court.

Be sure to follow these guidelines to ensure the safety of yourself and everyone around you, if you are scheduled to attend traffic court in the near future.
